The house is very close to the museum of Victor Horta - precursor of the 'art nuveau' style, 1.5 km from the Flea Market, 2.5 km from the Market Square. Despite its central position in an animated neighborhood, Casa Belgo Argentina B&B in Brussels offers a peaceful respite in one room and one apartment facing the lush flower garden of the house. Both have a TV set, fridge and en-suite bathroom. The apartment also features a kitchenette. Breakfast is served in a spacious dining room with individual tables for guests.

For how long have you been running a B&B?
14 years
Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.
We are a family with 2 children living in a house from our grandfather. But now the children are older and don't live with us. The presence of guests gives life in this large building. We are in love with contacting people from all over the world.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
We are "Art Nouveau" fans and it can be seen in our B&B. Mrs Esther Amer is coming from Argentina and René is a typical Belgian guy. We love pets.
Based on your guests' opinions, what feature of your B&B has made their stay special?
They love our garden, the neighborhood 1900 style, our capacity for personal contact and warm welcome.
Please describe in short your bed and breakfast and its general services and amenities.
Our B&B offers Wi-Fi, TV in the room, little kitchen, fridge, private toilet. We are inspected by the Communautary Commission of Brussels and are graded with Category 2 (there are 3 categories). The rooms and the whole house are spacious. We are seldom absent: thus, we can answer to all the questions of our guests. The neighborhood is very lively and typical.
How many rooms are offered at your B&B and what is its maximum capacity?
We have 1 flat with a maximum of 4 persons and we have an apartment of 2 separated rooms with a maximum of 6 persons.
What kinds of rooms do you offer?
The flat at the 3rd floor has a view over the City Hall and the roofs. It is very sunny, functional and quiet. The apartment at the 2nd floor is more intimate. It overlooks our garden and has a marble bathroom and toilet, wooden floor.

Central heating. TV in rooms with International program. When necessary we help our guests for any demand about ironing, internet, clothes washing, phone, change.
Which room is your personal favorite?
We prefer the "green room" in the apartment.
What do the room rates include?
Price includes all taxes, Breakfast, Wi-Fi, 2 Insurances (guest's liability and host's liability)
Do you offer any special packages?
A large part of the guests come for business and therefore it is rarely possible to provide special packages.
What may guests expect from a typical breakfast at your property?
During breakfast time we try to provide typical Belgian ingredients for an authentic atmosphere. For instance with Belgian Chocolate, Wafels, Brussels "brioche", local cookies, jam.
When and where is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served in our dining room. Between 7:00 and 10:00.
Are dietary needs accommodated?
When our guests request specific food, we adapt the breakfast.
Do you serve other meals?
No: the demand for this is low because we are in town and not in the country.
Are there cooking facilities, which guests may use?
There are kitchenettes and kitchen utensils in the flat and in the apartment.
Is your bed and breakfast suitable for children?
We are very happy with the presence of children.
Do you accept pets?
Sometimes we accept pets but not in the apartment with wood floor.
What is your smoking policy?
No smoking in the apartment and in the dining room. Permitted in the flat.
Is there a parking facility on premises or nearby?
We help to find place for the car in the street. Brussels is a town with very few inside park places.
Is your B&B suitable for disabled guests?
There are stairs. No lift. We unfortunately cannot welcome disabled guests.
What safety precautions are provided at your B&B?
The are legal fire alarm devices.
What is your check-in/check-out policy?
The room must be free before 12:00 am. But we can guard the luggage at home for longer.
Are there a minimum number of nights for staying at your B&B?
No.
How can guests check availability and make a reservation?
By phone. Better by mail.
What is you cancellation policy?
No cancellation fees but we need 1 - 2 booking confirmations with phone number.
What types of payment do you accept?
Only cash.

Where is your B&B located and how it may be reached?
Saint-Gilles (SW of Brussels): 2.5 km far from the center - 1.0 km far from Midi Station with Thalys and Eurostar.
4 km from the Autoroute to Paris.
What would you say to people who have never stayed in a bed and breakfast?
If human contact with natives is essential for you, come and stay in a Bed and Breakfast. And also contacts with other nationalities during the breakfast. If you need help to visit a country, you will find this help in a B&B, better than elsewhere.
Is there something more that you want to share about your property?
We speak 4 languages French, Dutch, English and Spanish. We are very happy to share the world with the traveller.
