For how long have you been running a B&B?
17 years
Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.
Many years ago, when staying in Copenhagen, we visited a Danish couple in their home as part of a "Meet the Danes" program. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We also participated in a program to have Americans to dinner in our home, which both they and we enjoyed. When we had retired from our jobs and had a home large enough for visitors to stay, it seemed a good idea to start a B&B. We also became involved with the Victorian B&B Association and were part of the Mornington Peninsula Tourism and B&B Association.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
We like to feel that our visitors are truly guests in our home. They have privacy and their suite is separate from the rest of the house. Breakfast is served in our dining room and everyone eats together. We take pride in our food & hospitality. We can cater for special diets. Our bread and preserves are home made and we offer morning or afternoon tea/coffee on arrival, with home made cake and biscuits. We have a wide knowledge of our area and can help make bookings or plan their stay and advise on where to go and what to do. We take pride in our garden and guests are welcome to explore it.
Based on your guests' opinions, what feature of your B&B has made their stay special?
The guests enjoy our hospitality and breakfast is always a highlight.
Please describe in short your bed and breakfast and its general services and amenities.

Guests may use the internet and telephone if required.

The rooms are modern and decorated with a seaside theme.

We do not offer packages. We find that our guests often come to stay for a reason, such as a wedding, or have already booked for a dolphin swim. In nearly all cases they prefer to choose their own places to visit but we can offer advice and make bookings.
What may guests expect from a typical breakfast at your property?
For breakfast we offer a range of cereals, fresh or poached fruit, in season and freshly squeezed orange juice. This is followed by a hot dish, different each day, plus toasted home made bread and preserves. Brewed tea & coffee. We can cater for different diets, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free.
When and where is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served in the dining room. We suggest 8.30 am, which suits most people, but are flexible and can serve it earlier for golfers and swimmers, or a little later.
