Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.
We started in March 2006, at Easter. Originally from Switzerland, we spent a lot of time on the Côte d'Azur and especially in Nice.Having stayed in many B&Bs during our travels, we were really thinking about running such a place ourselves. So we started to look and when we saw this property, we both said "this is the place"!
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
Its location! Still in the city but with a touch of countryside. The view is great and the garden is fantastic.
Based on your guests' opinions, what feature of your B&B has made their stay special?
The location, the garden, the rooms, the pool and the way it is being run.
Please describe in short your bed and breakfast and its general services and amenities.
The house has been build in a large garden planted with palm trees and olive trees (23 of those). There are 4 rows of grapes out of which wine can be made. The house offers 4 guest bedrooms; 1 standard double, 2 suites and 1 studio. The guests have access to a large living-room with TV, DVDs, books, games. A pool and a small gym as well as a summer kitchen are at their disposal. They also have free access to the tennis next door.
How many rooms are offered at your B&B and what is its maximum capacity?
We offer 4 rooms. All are double rooms. 2 rooms can accommodate a 3rd and 4th person. The maximum capacity of our B&B is 12 persons.
What kinds of rooms do you offer?
"Olivier" is the smallest on the ground floor. Very cozy. "Pamplemousse" is the studio with its own kitchen. "Les Vignes" is a 2-bedrooms suite with balcony with sea view on the 1st floor. "Azur" is a beautiful suite for 2 on the first floor with a large private terrace.
Please describe the in-room facilities for each type of room in your B&B.
All rooms have en-suite bathroom or shower. Fans are available. Heating in the winter. We offer bathrobe and pool towels.
Which room is your personal favorite?
"Azur" is the largest and with the greatest view.
What do the room rates include?
The rate includes a large breakfast, secure parking, WI-FI, local taxes and use of the tennis next door.
Do you offer any special packages?
No.
What may guests expect from a typical breakfast at your property?
Tea, coffee or chocolate, baguette and danish, home-made marmalade, butter, fruit juice, cheese, cereals, fresh fruits.
When and where is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 either in the main dining room of outside weather permitting.
Are dietary needs accommodated?
Yes, we try.
Do you serve other meals?
We can provide dinner upon request.
Are there cooking facilities, which guests may use?
There is a summer kitchen with a stocked fridge where guests can help themselves with soft drinks, beer and wine. There is a price list where they put down what they buy. This kitchen is also at their disposal for cooking light snacks or meal if they do not feel like going into town.
Is your bed and breakfast suitable for children?
Yes.
Do you accept pets?
Depending on what kind of pets! and their size.
What is your smoking policy?
The house is totally non smoking.
Is there a parking facility on premises or nearby?
Yes, parking facility is available.
Is your B&B suitable for disabled guests?

What safety precautions are provided at your B&B?
A fence around the property.
What is your check-in/check-out policy?
Check-in is from 5 pm and check-out at 11 am.
Are there a minimum number of nights for staying at your B&B?
No.
How can guests check availability and make a reservation?
By contacting us by phone or email. We require a 1-night deposit at time of booking.
What is you cancellation policy?
In case of cancellation within 14 days before the arrival, we reserve the right to keep the deposit. For cancellations before that time we will repay the deposit but will keep a administration fee of € 10.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and credit cards (Visa and MasterCard), as well as bank transfer.
Is there a special etiquette that guests should know about and comply with?
No. We request that people do not enter the house when wet from the pool and that they respect the non-smoking policy inside the house, as well as respect our private areas.

Where is your B&B located and how it may be reached?
The best is to follow the direction given on our website which we give again below: Leave the A8 at the exit Nice St. Isidore, exit Nr 52. At the round-about after the exit drive in direction Digne/Grenoble then take the 2nd exit to Nice St. Isidore/Nice Crémat. Proceed in direction of the hill (east) and after driving through the small village of St. Isidore follow the signs "Chateau Crémat". You are now on the Chemin de Crémat. After 2 hairpin bends and a 90 degrees curve you will find “Le Mas des Oliviers” on your right just next to the tennis club of Crémat.
What would you say to people who have never stayed in a bed and breakfast?
In our B&B, the guests have got their private toilets and bathroom but might be having breakfast at the same table than other guests. The pool area will also be for everybody to enjoy. So if somebody is looking for total privacy and no contact, this is definitely not the place to be!
