What is(are) your name(s)?
For how long have you been running a B&B?
I was born in a B&B and we have always owned one or two all around the world. The new one will be open in Rome center in the next few months.
Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.
We are a family of tour guides, artists and innkeepers with years of experience in hosting international guests. All the flats belong to our family and they are private properties rented on a regular base for short and medium terms. The B&Bs in Barcelona center belong to me and my Spanish boyfriend. They have been fully decorated by hand by ourselves and they have all the comforts you can ever imagine! There are oil-paintings everywhere, nice details, hand-made curtains and decorations. We have also hosted a lot of artists, musicians and painters that are now good friends of us and they always come back considering our flats their homes! We like to host, to offer suggestions, meals, friendship and a little bid of our knowledge to our guests since we consider that travelling is living and enjoying, expecially such a beautiful town as Barcelona.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
All our B&Bs are real. A unique experience in a real place to feel as at home for a while in a foreign Country. We are an international family, we can speak up to 7 languages and we have always hosted somebody during our lives. All our flats belong to us and they are colourful, comfortable and clean as it is your own house away. We are always at disposal for anything guests might need respecting their privacy. Our slogan is "Bienvendos INNBB!"
Based on your guests' opinions, what feature of your B&B has made their stay special?
Our guests love to come back and visit us every now and then. We consider them friends and we like to read the comments left in our guest-books. The best was this one from a 4-year old baby: "I like this place so much that the next time I will take all my dolls with me!" I think these words explain everything and how guests feel in our B&B.
Please describe in short your bed and breakfast and its general services and amenities.
We are located in Barcelona center. You can go on foot wherever you prefer in a nice and safe quarter full of commercial activities such as shops, banks, restaurants, bars, parks and pedestrian avenues. The buildings go back to the beginning of the century and they represent the splendour of the Liberty or Modernist Period of Barcelona. Iron balconies, beautiful entrances and roofs, wooden and deep staircases are the typical characteristics of the Sagrada Familia District, where we are located.
How many rooms are offered at your B&B and what is its maximum capacity?
In all the flats we have 3 rooms with private bathrooms and free use of the kitchen at complete disposal. The maximum capacity of each flat is for 6/7 guests all in lovely, comfortable and colourful private rooms with balcony or big window. Beds are new.
What kinds of rooms do you offer?
GaudiBB has 3 rooms called Groc (yellow), Rosa and Sweet (the most romantic one with its own veranda). MartiBB is left for groups of 6/7 friends travelling together and it has 2 suites called Delia and Aleli plus an added room called Zaida with a big-bed and bulk-beds for eventual children. DaliBB is a loft on the third floor of a nice building and it has fouton beds in two different rooms with balcony. It is ideal for a family of 4 with a big bathroom and a nice fully-equipped kitchen.
Please describe the in-room facilities for each type of room in your B&B.
Each flat is different and it can either be self-catering or with maid service. Wi-Fi and ceiling fans are everywhere, while air-conditioning is just in GaudiBB. TV sets or radios with CDs are available in the dining-rooms and internationals films can be provided in different languages, under specific request. Tourist material, maps and books are available such as our constant assistance in case of need.
Which room is your personal favorite?
My favorite room is the SWEET of GaudiBB since I personally decorated it with works of art coming from the theater school of my mum. Big oil-paintings made by teen-agers and representing a kingdome with the story of a King... Theater paintings hang on the walls making the room fantastic and full of good energy. It also has a lovely veranda and a private bathroom with shower.
What do the room rates include?
The room rates include everything: free use of the kitchen, wi-fi, food provided for breakfasts, maid, touristic material, taxes, etc.
Do you offer any special packages?

When and where is breakfast served?

Are dietary needs accommodated?

Do you serve other meals?

Please tell us what things guests might enjoy visiting, seeing, doing, etc. in your area.
Where is your B&B located and how it may be reached?
We are located in the Sagrada Familia Quarter in the heart of the town and the best area to feel Catalan for a while.
What would you say to people who have never stayed in a bed and breakfast?
Come to visit us... Bienvenidos INNBB! and you will discover by yourself if you like to stay in a real B&B or if you prefer a standard hotel without any personal contact with people or facts.
Is there something more that you want to share about your property?
All our properties are nice! The next one we are going to open is in Roma center at a walking distance from the Vatican and Piazza del Popolo. Thanks to my dad that left us this wonderful property. We wait for you either in Barcelona or Roma... Benvenuti INNBB!
