Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.
Casa do Rio Vez is situated in an old olive oil-press, built 1886, moved by the river Vez, restored in 2004 to offer an unexpected architecture. It gathers generous contemporary spaces with old granite walls and surrounding nature. Casa do Rio Vez boasts 300m of natural swimming pools, an out-door swimming-pool, tv, wireless internet, 10.000m2 of gardens, mimosas and oaks alongside the river banks.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
Casa do Roi Vez is a place with "contemporary charm", a design B&B with 300m of very clean natural swimming pools.
Based on your guests' opinions, what feature of your B&B has made their stay special?
Our guests love the river running through our garden, the swimming pool, the two fountains.
How many rooms are offered at your B&B and what is its maximum capacity?
Casa do Rio Vez offers four rooms for two 2 people each and one loft able to accommodate four guests.
What kinds of rooms do you offer?
Room Sara is 14 sq.m. in size and has two windows overlooking the river. It is provided with a 1,50 mt large double-bed, a private shower, wash basin and toilette, TV, DVD, Wi-Fi, central heating. Room Maria is also 14 sq.m. in size with one window overlooking the river, a 1,50 mt large double-bed, private shower, wash basin and toilette, TV, DVD, Wi-Fi, central heating. Note: Rooms Sara and Maria are accessible by a small corridor leading to the lounge, with a door that can be closed. The claiming stairs lead to a balcony overlooking the lounge. Room João is 20 sq.m. in size and has one window overlooking the river, two windows overlooking the swimming pool and the garden. The room also boasts a 1,80 mt large double-bed (two single beds may be provided instead on demand), a private shower, wash basin and toilette, air-conditioner, TV , DVD, Wi-Fi, central heating. Room Gilberto is 28 sq.m. in size with two windows overlooking the river and one window overlooking the garden. The room is provided with a 1,80 mt large double-bed (two single beds may provided instead on demand), a private bath with shower, wash basin and toilette, air conditioner, TV set, DVD, Wi-Fi, central heating. Loft Luís is 55 sq.m. in size and has two levels. It boasts a multi-function open space and is independent from the main house. The private entrance leads to the hall, provided with a closet. The loft enjoys four panoramic windows overlooking the river, four windows overlooking the garden, a private shower, wash basin and toilette. The first floor of the loft has a sofa double-bed 1,60 mt large, a 3-person sofa, one armchair which appears in Almodóvar's film "Tudo sobre mi madre", a 4-person dining table, kitchenette, closet, low cabinet. The mezzanine is provided with a double bed futon style, two single beds may be provided instead on demand, a side table. The loft's facilities include central heating, air conditioning, salamander, TV set, CD and MP3 player, Wi-Fi, oven, refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffee machine, kitchen utensils for 4 guests, baby cot, baby chair.
