La Bigiola B&B offers four twin rooms with private bathrooms, large windows with stunning panorama view and comfortable corners with herb tea. There are also a large living room with TV set, VCR and fireplace, a private garden and a private parking lot. Pets are welcome at La Bigiola B&B. The beaches, the historic center and the small medieval villages nearby of Rimini may be reached on foot or by bike and offer unforgettable experiences.

Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.
La Bigiola is built on the place of an old country store, at only 5 Km from the center of Rimini. The store was open from 1900 to 1960 years. They used to sell everything because people who lived in the countryside were not used to go to the town center for their needs. It was also an important centre of social interaction. People met friends and neighbours here, they were discussing the weather, country life, policy and sport events, and so on. The name 'La Bigiola' is the family nickname of the old house owner.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
We want La Bigiola to be a true home for our guests, the right place to have an unforgettable holiday.
Based on your guests' opinions, what feature of your B&B has made their stay special?
First of all our guests appreciate a lot the peace and panorama along with the very close distances to the highway, town center, seaside, railway station. They like very much the way we take particular care for our breakfast choosing local and certified foods.
Please describe in short your bed and breakfast and its general services and amenities.
At the ground floor there's a large living room with two sofas, library, TV and video. There's a fireplace in front of the sofas, the kitchen is modern and practical. On this floor we have one double room with private bathroom and a second bathroom close to the living room. From the balcony, near the kitchen you can have a beautiful view of the countryside. At the second floor there are three panoramic double rooms with a shared bathroom.
How many rooms are offered at your B&B and what is its maximum capacity?
The rooms are four in total for eight persons, we can also add a third bed in two rooms on demand.
What kinds of rooms do you offer?
The room at the ground floor is romantic and cosy, has old style furniture and a private bathroom. On the second floor there are three double rooms, large and comfortable, all with a beautiful view.
Please describe the in-room facilities for each type of room in your B&B.
Each room has a tea/herb corner. Bathrooms have shower and hairdryer. Of course heating and fireplace are working in winter.
Which room is your personal favorite?
We don't have a favorite room because each one of them is special for its characteristics.
What do the room rates include?
The room rate includes tasty Italian (Romagna) breakfast, bed and bath linen, taxes, insurance, private parking, bikes on demand. Pets are welcome free of charge.
Do you offer any special packages?
Children under 10 years stay free of charge. Special offer for staying from Sunday to Thursday that is stay four nights and pay only three - 25% discount. During week-ends from Friday to Monday (3 nights) there's a 15% discount. Special prices are applied for longer stays (1 week or more).
What may guests expect from a typical breakfast at your property?
Bread, piadina, delicatessen (ham, salame, mortadella, etc.) - hand made cakes, yogurt, cornflakes, local cheese, fresh fruits with Italian coffee and chocolate or tea.
When and where is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served from 8.30 to 9.30 a.m. in the dining room but it is possible to have it before this time on demand.
Are dietary needs accommodated?
Special diet or food allergy are to be specified at the booking at no additional charge.
Do you serve other meals?
No, we do not serve any kind of other meals except breakfast.
Are there cooking facilities, which guests may use?
In each room there's a tea/herb corner with kettle, cups, towel, sugar, tea and camomile.
Is your bed and breakfast suitable for children?
There's no age limit, children of all ages can stay in La Bigiola.
Do you accept pets?
We accept pets free of charge.
What is your smoking policy?
Smoking is allowed out on the balcony and in the garden.
Is there a parking facility on premises or nearby?
La Bigiola has a private car parking.
Is your B&B suitable for disabled guests?
Disabled guests can easily stay at the ground floor room.
What safety precautions are provided at your B&B?
For precautions we have fire extinguishers.
What is your check-in/check-out policy?
Usually guests are registered in the afternoon after 3:30 p.m. and check-out in the morning till 10:30 a.m.
Are there a minimum number of nights for staying at your B&B?
Yes, the minimum stay is two nights.
How can guests check availability and make a reservation?
Email is the best way to contact us.
What is you cancellation policy?
At the booking confirmation guests may send us a 20% deposit through bank transfer that will be given back if cancellation is made at least a week before date of arrival.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash payment or bank transfer in advance.
Is there a special etiquette that guests should know about and comply with?

There are many places where guests may enjoy themselves: Rimini is the city of the film director Federico Fellini, it has beautiful Roman and medieval monuments, beaches, thematic and funfair parks. There are several medieval villages at a short distance (San Marino Republic, San Leo, Gradara, etc) and famous artistic citis that may be reached by car like Venice, Ravenna, Bologna, Urbino...
Where is your B&B located and how it may be reached?
La Bigiola is placed in the immediate vicinity of Rimini town, the easier way to reach us is exit at Rimini south highway. The railway station is only 6 km from us and Airport F.Fellini is at 10 km.
What would you say to people who have never stayed in a bed and breakfast?
B&B experience is the better way to meet Italian way of life, culture and history in a family environment, where you can experience your holidays in free-hearted and friendly environment.
