Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.
Lo Spigo Bed & Breakfast occupies a structure, built in the last years of 1800, is restructured and environmentally friendly; spread over two floors with independent entrance. The restoration began in 2007 and finished in 2008. I used to live in a big city, in Milan, worked in a Call Centre and with my daughter and her boyfriend we decided to buy an hold a house in Tuscany, run it as a B&B. The structure used to be a House of the Lunigiana family abandoned 20 years ago.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
The unique characteristics of Lo Spigo are the fantastic views on the Apuan Alps, the surrounding landscape of vineyards and olive trees, in the heart of Luni's Land; the unique atmosphere serene and quietness; the handmade breakfast and jam.
Based on your guests' opinions, what feature of your B&B has made their stay special?
Guests of Lo Spigo B&B enjoy the familiar welcome; the attention on guest's needs; the quiet atmosphere that allows undisturbed sleep; the Tuscany landscape; the welcome glass of wine or cup of coffee; the nearby seacoast of 5 Terre Park and Gulf of Poets.

How many rooms are offered at your B&B and what is its maximum capacity?
We have 3 double rooms, 1 triple room, and 1 quadruple room.
What kinds of rooms do you offer?
On the first floor there are 3 rooms (the Green, Red and Blue Room)with en-suite bathroom, a cozy lounge and a bright kitchen with terrace available for guests and where breakfast is served in warm days. At the second floor there are one double bedroom and one double room plus a single bed (the Violet and the Lilac Room), each with a large terrace that overlooks the Apuane. There is possibility to serve breakfast in the room.

All rooms have TV sets, full en-suite bathrooms, terraces overlooking the Apuan Alps, hairdryer, bed linen and towels.

Beach near 5 Terre Park, Gulf of Poets, Versilia, Forte dei marmi, Viareggio and Viareggio Carnival. Apuan Alps Park trekking. Visiting cities of art like Florence, Lucca and Pisa, and any sports like biking, jogging, trekking and so on in Caves of Murble of Carrara, Eno Gastronomic Tour (Oil, Wine, Lardo of Colonnata and so on). You can briefly reach the Gulf of Poets with Lerici and Portovenere Also in less than half an hour there is the Passo del Lagastrello, the Passo del Cerreto and Garfagnana. With the same time reach the suggestive Caves Equi Terme and from which spring water treating sulphur. The closest airport is Pisa Airport, with numerous Low Cost flight, which is 45 minutes far by car. Distances: Florence 2 hours by car, Lucca 1 hour, Pisa 45 minutes, Forte dei Marmi 45 minutes, Lerici 35 minutes, 5 Terre 35 minutes, Parma 1 h and about 20, Marinella of sarzana about 40 minutes, Portovenere about 45 minutes. For any type of information are available tourism materials.

What would you say to people who have never stayed in a bed and breakfast?
The atmosphere is serene, the rhythms are quiets, the welcome is greatest. Ideal for breaks from the city, to resume contact with our territory and with nature. The innkeeper Daniela is an entertaining woman and she will take care of You, she will give all type of information about the area, the restaurants, the activities, the places to visit, and all type of tourist information.
