An interview with the innkeeper(s) of Casa Annette Bed & Breakfast (20th of November 2009)
What is(are) your name(s)?
Annette Frizzell and Stuart Kennedy
For how long have you been running a B&B?
3.5 years .
Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.
We arrived in Cortelazor in August 2004 but it took us some time to get all the work done that was needed in order for us to run a B&B. The house is situated right in the middle of the village of 350 people and had previously been the local dance-hall and also a restaurant in which all the local 'fiesta' took place such as weddings and first communions etc. Аll in all very much part of village history. We were lucky enough to find, in the cellar, some bits of furniture from that time and Annette has spent some time renovating these items, they are still part of Casa Annette.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
We based Casa Annette on our own view of what we would like to find in a B&B, i.e. friendly atmosphere, good homemade and local food, individually decorated rooms and beautiful countryside.
Based on your guests' opinions, what feature of your B&B has made their stay special?
A homely welcome and great breakfasts!!!

Downstairs we have a dining room for breakfasts in cooler months..and a large terrace for breakfast in warmer months. The terrace is also communal area for relaxing reading etc. We also have a large stock of guide books and maps and other reading-matter for guest to use.
