Villa I Due Padroni B&B offers a well-appointed apartment with private entrance, two double rooms, bathroom, large living room with TV and DVD, fully equipped kitchen and a sunny terrace with amazing view. Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.
We started our B&B in a family home with two floors and a cellar, inhabited and for sale for 7 years in the unknown Oltrepo Pavese area , Lombard Italy. We discovered this area half a year before and saw it's potential for tourism. We had some projects done to adjust the property and make it better suitable for guests (outside terrace, extra windows, parking area). We set up a web site and made sure people could find us on the internet.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
We are in an unspoilt area of Italy, where hardly any tourists have been. Quiet, laid back, slow pace. Beautiful wine area, with smooth hills and castles, magnificent views. Traditional food.
Based on your guests' opinions, what feature of your B&B has made their stay special?
Tranquility, no tourist traps, landscape and food. Very spacious apartment, perfect for relaxing.
Please describe in short your bed and breakfast and its general services and amenities.
We offer a large apartment on the ground floor of the villa with a spacious private sun-terrace with a panoramic view on the valley, a garden with swimming pool, space and tranquility to relax, a living room with tv/dvd/cd, books and games and sofas, a fully equipped complete kitchen with dining table for 6, 2 bedrooms, bath with shower and toilet, bidet. Parking place behind the house. Dogs are welcome at our Villa, as we are dog lovers ourselves. Wi-Fi internet (free) in the entire apartment. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed.
How many rooms are offered at your B&B and what is its maximum capacity?
We offer two double rooms and a bed-sofa in the living room to sleep at max 6 people. One double has a twin bed the other two singles.
What kinds of rooms do you offer?
The two rooms are almost alike, differing colour and a little in size. Both offer a sitting area and armadio.
Please describe the in-room facilities for each type of room in your B&B.
In room facilities are limited but the shared facilities are many: full kitchen, living room (TV, dvd, cd), terrace, pool, garden.
Which room is your personal favorite?
The one located west is a little larger and has the twin bed "a baldacchino".
What do the room rates include?
The room rates include breakfast, uses of all amenities, touristic info and advice, internet, parking, linen, towels, etc.
Do you offer any special packages?
We offer a cooking workshop and a culinary arrangement.
What may guests expect from a typical breakfast at your property?
Several types of bread, freshly baked, tea, coffee, juice, egg, cheese, jams etc.
When and where is breakfast served?
In the kitchen or on the panoramic terrace outside, whenever the guests want to.
Are dietary needs accommodated?
If necessary - yes.

No.
Are there cooking facilities, which guests may use?
Yes, fully equipped kitchen, cutlery, plates etc for 6.

Walking in the vineyards, visiting age old cities like Varzi, Bobbio, day trips to Pavia (Certosa di Pavia monastery), Parma, Cremona, Genua, Milan, the Mediterranean, cycling, MTB, wine tasting.
Where is your B&B located and how it may be reached?
15 min off the A21 highway at Stradella/Broni, direction Santa Maria della Versa and then direction Francia.
What would you say to people who have never stayed in a bed and breakfast?
Shared facilities, unless one rents the entire apartment (2 rooms). As it is very spacious there is enough room to have a private space everywhere. Staying at a B&B allows you to experience the life in a real authentic Italian environment, small scale with the possibility to have detailed info from your hosts.
