For how long have you been running a B&B?
We have developed the property over the past 9 years but have only been open as a B&B since April 2009

We bought the overgrown 23 acres in 2000 and set about putting in the infrastructure such as roads, dams, fences, barn, storage facilities, gardens and then built the homestead following by the pool, studio complex and tennis court which was completed in June 2008. We opened for business in April 2009.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
Our B&B is unique as it offers a traditional B&B experience as well as the added benefit of being on a working farm with cattle, horses, alpacas and poultry. Guests are able to relax in the rural surrounds but only minutes away from beaches, shops, restaurants, cafes, cinemas and tourist attractions.
Based on your guests' opinions, what feature of your B&B has made their stay special?

The property, accommodation and facilities is designed to maximize privacy for individuals.
Is there something more that you want to share about your property?
Everything on the property has been built or developed onsite. The property started life as 23 acres of overgrown land covered in dead trees and broken fences. It took 8 years to clear and developed before finally opening as a Farmstay & B&B in April 2009. The property is not on town water and is reliant on tanks for its water supply. It has it own septic systems which utilize/treat the waste and grey water on the surrounding gardens. The dams are used for the animals and irrigation when required.
