It has three en-suite rooms with stylish interior featuring antique Tuscan rustic furnishing and modern amenities. There is also a spacious living room, kitchenette and a terrace with lovely views of the Duomo and Florence's main attractions.

Locanda dei Guelfi Bed & Breakfast is a newly opened B&B in Florence.
Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.
I have 30 years of experience in the hotel accommodation business and have decided to open a B&B of my own.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
Locanda dei Guelfi occupies a19th century house, recently renovated, centrally located in one of the most beautiful world city centers - Florence. Everything is within a walking distance and you can forget about your car. In good season breakfast is served in the top roof terrace with unforgettable views. Panoramic location, a few step away from S. Maria Novella central railway station and from the Duomo cathedral, close to Expo Business center and to the most important monuments and museums.
Please describe in short your bed and breakfast and its general services and amenities.
Locanda dei Guelfi is open 24h all year round. It is entirely air-conditioned and has certified systems, panoramic terrace, Wi-Fi internet connection, common tea and coffee making facilities.
How many rooms are offered at your B&B and what is its maximum capacity?
My B&B in Florence has 8 double rooms, 5 with en-suite bathroom and 3 own private bathroom outside the room. Three of the rooms have an additional bed provided on request and there is one room, which may accommodate two more guests on two additional beds.
Please describe the in-room facilities for each type of room in your B&B.
Every room is air-conditioned, furnished with precious historic furniture in style with elegant tapestries and equipped with a TV set, mirror or luggage case, internet and telephone, desk table and chairs, double pillows, daily cleaning service; in the bathroom hair dryer and valet set. Iron is available upon request.
What do the room rates include?
American breakfast, Wi-Fi connection and tax included.
What may guests expect from a typical breakfast at your property?
Breakfast is served in a panorama breakfast room, on request room service and during good season in our roof top terrace with a splendid view. espresso coffee, American coffee, cappuccino, orange juice, fresh bread, fresh croissant, the, hot chocolate, yogurt, cereals, honey, jam, Nutella, butter, cheese, eggs, fresh fruit, cake, sliced salami, wurstel, slices rusk. Breakfast time form 8 to 11 am, with prior breakfast order.

No other meals.
Are there cooking facilities, which guests may use?
Kitchen, fridge and washing machine are available upon request and under our supervision.
Is your bed and breakfast suitable for children?
Yes, it is.
Do you accept pets?
Yes, we do.
What is your smoking policy?
The entire property is no smoking.
Is there a parking facility on premises or nearby?
We have two garages at a 30-meter distance at the special daily rate of 20 euro instead of 25.
Is your B&B suitable for disabled guests?
We are sorry, but it is not suitable.

Where is your B&B located and how it may be reached?
Arriving by train at Santa Maria Novella train station, leave the station from platform 16 side, catch Via Nazionale and after 200 meters turn right in via Guelfa 45. By car if you exit Firenze nord follow the signs for the city center (centro), when you get to Fortezza da Basso, take via Spartaco Lavagnini and turn right at the first traffic light on via Santa Caterina D'alessandria. After the square with trees (piazza Indipendenza), starts via Nazionale and after 100 meters turn left via Guelfa right n. 45 we are. If you exit instead Firenze sud, follow the signs for the center. Once you get to piazza della Libertà, take via Lorenzo il magnifico, at the first traffic light turn lefton via Poliziano and go until you get via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria. After piazza Indipendenza, starts via Nazionale and after 100 meters turn left via Guelfa on the right n. 45.
What would you say to people who have never stayed in a bed and breakfast?
In our house guests find a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere and everything they would find in a quality hotel.
