For how long have you been running a B&B?
Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.
The main house is over 300 years old and the guest house was rebuilt after the Second World War as a milking parlour and hay loft which we converted into the guest house in 2004.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
The guest house is separate from our home so giving greater freedom and privacy to our guests.
Based on your guests' opinions, what feature of your B&B has made their stay special?
These are some superlatives used by many of our guests "tranquil. cool, chic, peaceful, calm, relaxing, wonderful, skookum", we could go on.
Please describe in short your bed and breakfast and its general services and amenities.
The guest house has a kitchen, dining area and sitting room for the exclusive use of our guest plus barbecue and outside sitting areas all in a 5 acre garden with chickens, ducks, goats and a llama.
How many rooms are offered at your B&B and what is its maximum capacity?
4 bedrooms all with en-suite, 1 bedroom for 2 people, 2 bedrooms for 2 or 3 people, 1 bedroom for 2,3,4 or 5 people. Total capacity 13 people.
What kinds of rooms do you offer?
Please describe the in-room facilities for each type of room in your B&B.
All rooms are large with en-suite ( shower, basin and w.c.) and have full sized beds, no bunk beds or fold-up beds.

All rooms are our favourite.
What do the room rates include?
Rates include everything, no hidden extras.
Do you offer any special packages?
What may guests expect from a typical breakfast at your property?
English tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, fruit juice, locally made croissants and bread with jams, cheese, meats. Small cakes and muesli/granola.
When and where is breakfast served?
Served in the dining room of the guest house or outside weather permitting.
Are dietary needs accommodated?

Are there cooking facilities, which guests may use?
The guest house has a fully fitted kitchen which is for the sole use of our guests.
Is your bed and breakfast suitable for children?
Yes (no age limit).
Do you accept pets?
Yes (please inform at time of booking) no extra charge.
What is your smoking policy?
NO - we are in-compliance with current EU legislation on smoking prevention.
Is there a parking facility on premises or nearby?
Yes plenty of off-road parking.
Is your B&B suitable for disabled guests?
What safety precautions are provided at your B&B?
As an architect designed interior the layout has been design to incorporate passive fire protection which includes a protected means of escape in addition to active protection (fire alarms).
What is your check-in/check-out policy?
Check in from 4pm, but guests can arrive earlier and we will endeavour to make the room available. Check out 12am (noon) on day of departure.
Are there a minimum number of nights for staying at your B&B?
How can guests check availability and make a reservation?
All reservation to be made by email. Telephone reservations will have to be confirmed by email.
What is you cancellation policy?
Cancellations received at least 21 days before arrival date, the deposit will be refunded. Cancellations received within 21 days before arrival date, the deposit will not be refunded. Cancellation part way through your stay, remaining nights will be charged in full.
What types of payment do you accept?
Euro cash - Sterling or Euro cheques/checks - credit/debit cards by PayPal.
Is there a special etiquette that guests should know about and comply with?
All guests must learn to chill-out and enjoy the tranquility of this unique with a little chic bed and breakfast. This is a totally informal establishment.

France's second most visited attraction LE MONT SAINT MICHEL, also the Normandy landing beaches and many historical buildings to visit, plus for the more adventurous A.J.Hackett's European centre (bungy etc), parachuting or light aircraft trips over Mont St Michel.
Where is your B&B located and how it may be reached?
Guests must have their own transport as we are located in very rural countryside and if possible have "sat-nav" (we are listed on Google Maps as well) or a very good map.
What would you say to people who have never stayed in a bed and breakfast?
