What is(are) your name(s)?
Myriam and Peter Murray
For how long have you been running a B&B?
Since 2010
Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
Based on your guests' opinions, what feature of your B&B has made their stay special?
In the written words of many guests: "Beautiful place", "Peaceful place", "Beautiful Surroundings", "Lovely food", "A very warm welcome".
Please describe in short your bed and breakfast and its general services and amenities.
How many rooms are offered at your B&B and what is its maximum capacity?
We offer 3 rooms for Bed and Breakfast in the farm building itself, and 2 rooms with their own sitting rooms and bathrooms in the gite apartments. There is additional capacity available where needed for families or friends who are willing to share a showe
What kinds of rooms do you offer?
What do the room rates include?
Do you offer any special packages?
What may guests expect from a typical breakfast at your property?
A typical breakfast includes a variety of breads, jams, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, and tea and coffee.
When and where is breakfast served?
Are dietary needs accommodated?
Yes - we cater for vegetarians, vegans and specific allergy diets, but please always tell us well in advance.
Do you serve other meals?
We serve: Brunch: 8 euros per person; Light lunches: 8 euros per person - soups/salads, cheeses etc. Delicious three-course dinners: 18 euros per person,15 euros for vegetarians - starter, main course, dessert, wine, infusion or coffee. We also provide tasty and nourishing picnics for 6 euros per person. All these extra meals are on request.
Are there cooking facilities, which guests may use?
There are no cooking facilities for guests, but there are free tea and infusion facilities in the kitchen area of the dining/kitchen room. Parents with babies are free to use the kitchen and fridge to prepare baby food. There is also a fridge in one of the gite apartments above the farm building.
Is your bed and breakfast suitable for children?
Do you accept pets?
What is your smoking policy?
For health and safety reasons we have a strict no smoking policy anywhere inside the properties, but are happy for people to smoke outside so long as they take care not to start a fire.
Is there a parking facility on premises or nearby?
Yes, there is a grassed parking area immediately off the road, and just before the entry to the farm. Guests are welcome to drive down to the farm to unload first.
Is your B&B suitable for disabled guests?
Unfortunately, these premises are not suitable for disabled guests.
What safety precautions are provided at your B&B?
There is no need for burglar alarms (robbery and theft is almost unknown here) but guests can lock their own rooms. There are normal fire precautions (fire protection, fire extinguishers etc) but no smoke alarms.
What is your check-in/check-out policy?
We try to be flexible about check-in and check out times. However, where there will be a same-day changeover, we ask guests to leave by midday, and not to arrive before 3pm.
Are there a minimum number of nights for staying at your B&B?
There are no minimums.
How can guests check availability and make a reservation?
Please contact us by phone or email, or, soon, consult availability online on our website. We ask for a 30 euro or 25% deposit (whichever is greater) to secure bookings, with the balance to be paid on arrival.
What is you cancellation policy?
We ask to be informed as soon as possible of any cancellation, and will refund any deposits paid if the cancellation takes place at least 30 days in advance of arrival. We have to pay refunds by bank transfer so will need bank details, and will deduct the cost of the transfer (if any) from the refund. Deposits will not be refunded in the case of cancellations made less than 30 days before the booking arrival date.
What types of payment do you accept?
For payment of deposits, we can accept payments by Paypal - either using a credit card on our Paypal page, or using a Paypal account, or by euro cheque or transfer from French banks. For payment of balances, we can accept cash or payment by euro cheque from a French bank.
Is there a special etiquette that guests should know about and comply with?
No, we are relaxed and informal. All that we ask is what anyone would ask, that guests respect the peace, the place, and other people.
Please tell us what things guests might enjoy visiting, seeing, doing, etc. in your area.
While we are secluded and peaceful, we are also within easy reach of an enormous variety of things to see and do.Nature lovers will relish the abundance and variety of flora and fauna in both the immediate and wider area. For walkers, the choice is very wide - from lovely local strolls through magnificent forests, following crystal clear streams to dramatic high-mountain walks in spectacular wild scenery. Whether potholing, horse-riding, golfing, fishing, white-water canoeing, canyoning, gliding or climbing, there should be something to suit most tastes. Attractions in the area range from: Cistercian Abbeys to Romanesque Churches and Cathedrals; Prehistoric Caves with original paintings to mediaeval Towns and Castles; Thermal Baths going back to Roman times to some of the rarest and most exquisite crystal formations in Caves; and from Art Museums to Classical and Jazz Music Festivals. See the Attractions and Activities pages on our website for much more information.

What would you say to people who have never stayed in a bed and breakfast?
Is there something more that you want to share about your property?
