La Casa del Conte is a sophisticated bed and breakfast in the center of Rome. With most of the city's landmarks at its doorstep, it is an excellent home base for touring Rome on foot. La Casa del Conte Bed & Breakfast occupies a recently refurbished suite with a private entrance, set in a historic building, which belongs to the Marcello Family - a renowned family with roots that can be traced back since ancient Roman times. The suite is very cosy and sunny, elegantly appointed with original antique furniture. It consists of a double room and an adjoining lounge with a TV, CD and DVD player, internet, air conditioner, heating, mini fridge, en-suite bathroom.

Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.

When I moved to this house I decided to reserve a part of it as a Bed and Breakfast. I created a comfortable and exclusive (two persons only) suite refinished with antiques and period furniture dating back generations of my ancient family. In this way the B&B la Casa del Conte (the Earl’s house) has become a unique and romantic destination for couples who turn afford to visit Rome in an atmosphere rich in detail and close to all major monuments of the capital.

What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?

As well as the warm and welcoming furniture. One of the salient features of the B&B is its location in the heart of Rome. The B&B is located between Campo dei Fiori and Piazza Navona and just 10 minutes walk from St. Peter. This position allows you to explore the beauty of the city mostly on foot. The B&B is also directly connected to the bus 64, which brings in 10 mins at the Termini Rail station.

Based on your guests' opinions, what feature of your B&B has made their stay special?

My guests so far have been exceptionally happy with our hospitality, the comfort, the atmosphere, our organization and above all cleanliness. We care much for the room is impeccably clean. On the other hand that we are recognized by the opinions expressed by our guests: "You made our stay a time we will never forget. Your house is a museum on its own with all the family treasures and beautiful antiques. The location could not have been any better. All highlight of Rome around the corner, all in walking distance". "We have enjoyed our stay in this lovely apt. its location was perfect for all the historical sights. We were able to walk everywhere and enjoyed many meals in the area. You were so kind to give us the necessary to make us very comfortable". "La Casa del Conte is a home away from home ! The suite is equipped with air conditioning, free Internet connection, soundproof windows. In the guest private living room there are also a mini fridge and a kettle with various types of tea coffee and sugar a Sony 32" LED TV and a CD-DVD reader. Upon request we provide Individually designed guided tours tailored to meet individual tastes and requirements to show artistic aspects of Rome and Italy. In addition we can send a cab to pick the guests at the Airport of Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" for a very good price.

What kinds of rooms do you offer?

Bed & Breakfast La Casa del Conte is comprised of a beautifully furnished period suite with independent entrance, soundproofed windows and plenty of natural light. The suite is composed as follows: A living room with a comfortable sofa, a desk with internet access (included in the fees), 32" Sony LED television, CD and DVD reader. A Bedroom with two capacious wardrobes and a chest of drawers, parquet flooring, a period queen sized (160×200 cm) double bed in brass with orthopedic mattress. A Bathroom comprises an en suite shower and is fully accessorized with a hair dryer, towels, soap, shampoo, and shower gel.

The suite is equipped with its own entrance and have air conditioning and soundproof windows. There is also a refrigerator and a kettle with cups and various types of tea infusions, Nescafe and sugar. The bathroom is fully accessorized. Free internet connection is provided.

In addition, a few steps you can lose yourself in the narrow streets of Trastevere or there may be fascinated by the open-air market in Campo dei Fiori. You can also enjoy shopping in many boutique or spend pleasant evenings in the many restaurants or pubs in the historic center.
