Converted in 2008 from a holiday house owned by a private hospital from Nagoya, B&B Koyuki is now run as a bed & breakfast accommodation by Swiss/Japanese owners/innkeepers who speak English, Japanese and German. It has always been our dream to run a bed & breakfast, where we could welcome guests from all over the world. We love meeting people from various countries and backgrounds - it is very exciting to learn more about them and there cultures. Being able to welcome guests and introduce them to Japanese culture and making sure they have a great time while staying in Hakuba is very rewarding.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
As a Hakuba Accommodation provider it is very important for us to offer and preserve Japanese-culture. Therefore all our rooms have got traditional futon beds and 4 out of the 5 guest rooms have a tatami floor. We also have a Japanese-style hot bath (no onsen water). We serve a Swiss-style buffet breakfast with butter croissants, bread rolls, toast bread, jams, butter, milch, orange juice, yoghurt, muesli, cheese (Swiss Emmentaler) and coffee or tea.
