What is(are) your name(s)?
For how long have you been running a B&B?
Please share something about the history of your present bed and breakfast.
We purchased Pavilions in the Rainforest earlier this year(2011), we fell in love with the fact that the buildings are literally in the rainforest but we have power, water, sealed road and still only 15 minutes from Cairns CBD. The property was purpose built as a B& B (in 2007) but had only only been used as a holiday home by the previous owners. With 11 years experience in the hospitality we were excited to bring the property into operation, providing a rainforest experience with the comforts of boutique style accommodation. We have implemented a comprehensive tour desk with over 120 tours to the reef (diving & snorkeling), rainforest, Islands, crocodile parks,, zoos, hot air ballooning ,skydiving, parasailing, jungle surfing, fishing - deep sea & freshwater, eco rainforest tours, wine, coffee, dairy farms, white water rafting to mention a few.
What are the unique characteristics of your B&B?
The Pavilions/bungalows are separate dwellings facing the rainforest, each bungalow has its own private access and balcony. The Pavilions offer total privacy providing a secluded and relaxing experience. Positioned in the Rainforest offer a peaceful environment with just the sounds of birds and other rainforest animals.
