About Bed & Breakfasts in Peru
Bed and breakfast accommodations in Peru are often located in the major cities of the country but there are some in remote locations like high in the Andes for example. B&B in Peru are usually mansions and beautiful houses that are privately owned and offer to their guests unique Peruvian ambiance and delicious local food for breakfast. Such accommodations are also called casas particulares (casa particular is the singular form). Because there isn't a strict definition for a bed and breakfast in Peru, usually budget accommodations of that type are also sometimes called hostales, pensiones and casas de huespedes. One thing is for sure though, if you want to experience the real Peru, you have to stay in one of those charming budget places and let the true local people take care of you and show you around.
